Jr. Vice Commander Newsletter - Dave Nichols

We have completed all our programs for this year except for Scout of the Year and Record Book. These will be submitted this month. Thank you to everyone that made YOUR post so successful this year. We are trying to set up a Buddy Poppy drive for Saturday, March 31, at the Food Land in Alexandria. Watch the bulletin board for sign up sheets. We need volunteers to make this a success. Don't make the same members do all the work. We need everyone's help.

At our March General Membership Meeting, information will be presented on how the auction will work. Briefly, a list of those items available will be distributed. This is also your bid form. You enter your bid beside the items you wish to bid on, fill in the bottom of the form with your name, address, and phone number.

Viewing of the auction items will be from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Friday, March 16. The bids will be opened at 3:00 pm on Friday, March 23. Successful bidders will be notified, and will have one week to pay for and remove the items.
